I had a decent stay at Doubletree By Hilton Santa Fe. The friendly staff and the warm cookies at check-in definitely made a positive impression. However, the noise was a significant downside, as I experienced vibrations in my first room. It was nice to find the hotel's location convenient for dining and shopping, but some facilities require maintenance.

Rooms
6.0
My first room was very noisy due to being near a busy road and an engine that caused vibrations. Fortunately, I was moved to a quieter room, but it lacked a functional TV. The rooms were clean and spacious overall, with nice touches like mini-fridges and microwaves.
Service

The staff was friendly and polite, making my experience overall better. I appreciated how they accommodated my request for a room change when the first one was unsuitable.

The hotel's location was excellent, as I found it easily accessible to downtown Santa Fe and nearby restaurants. It's perfect for travelers needing quick access to gas, food, and shopping.

I enjoyed the food at the on-site restaurant, especially the breakfast. The happy hour specials were a nice bonus, offering 50% off drinks and appetizers!
Facilities

The indoor and outdoor swimming pool, albeit small, looked inviting. However, I encountered issues with noise from cleaning at night, and renovations impacted the availability of the pool during my stay.

My stay at Doubletree By Hilton Santa Fe had its highlights, such as the friendly staff and delicious breakfast buffet, but there were also some drawbacks. The check-in process was a bit rocky, and I encountered some issues with the room size and overall condition. Despite these hiccups, my stay was nice due to some great amenities.

Rooms

The room I stayed in was on the top floor and had comfortable bedding, though I found the bathrooms to be slightly cramped compared to what I expected. I appreciated the clean state of the room, but some areas needed updating.
Service

The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. They greeted me warmly at check-in, and I felt they were responsive to my questions, making my overall experience pleasant.
Location
6.0
The location is convenient, being close to a major shopping center and many dining options. However, it is somewhat distant from the central Plaza, making it a bit less ideal if you're looking to explore downtown Santa Fe effortlessly.
Dining

Breakfast was definitely a high point with a great buffet that I thoroughly enjoyed. The dining staff were attentive, adding to the overall quality of my meals at the hotel.
Facilities

The fitness center was nice, and I loved using the hot tub in the early morning. However, I did experience unexpected maintenance issues, which detracted from my enjoyment of the facilities.

My stay at the Doubletree By Hilton Santa Fe was a mix of highs and lows. While I appreciated the cleanliness of my room and the comfortable bed, the noise from the street was somewhat disruptive. The service at the bar was really good, but I found some areas of the hotel, like the hallways, to feel a bit neglected.

Rooms

My king suite was spacious and clean with a couch and a recliner, which was perfect for my recovery from knee surgery. However, I did notice some noise from Cerillos Street early in the evening.
Service

The staff were generally friendly, particularly Saul at the bar, who made my night with his amazing margaritas. On the flip side, some staff seemed indifferent in other areas.
Location

Situated about 5 miles from the Plaza, the hotel's location was convenient, being near a major shopping center. However, the noise from the street could be a downside for those seeking peace.
Dining

I enjoyed the breakfast buffet, though I felt it could have offered more for the price. The warm cookies at check-in were definitely a highlight!

The overall facilities were adequate, but I did notice that some areas could use updating, as they felt a bit worn. The indoor-outdoor pool is a nice feature, though I didn't get to use it this time.

I had a mixed experience during my stay at Doubletree By Hilton Santa Fe. The warm cookies at check-in were a lovely touch, and I found the staff to be friendly and accommodating. However, the hotel's location was less than ideal, as it was quite far from the Plaza and in a noisy area. Additionally, some amenities could use improvement, such as the cleanliness of the room and maintenance issues.

Rooms
5.0
My room was clean upon entering, but I noticed that the bathrooms were quite small and dated, similar to a budget motel. The comfort of the bed, however, was a positive point, allowing for a good night's sleep.
Service
6.0
I was impressed by the staff's friendliness and attentiveness, particularly at check-in. They worked hard to assist guests, especially in the restaurant, although at one point, my room change due to a booking issue was handled poorly.
Location
5.0
The location was convenient for accessing restaurants and shopping but was a bit far from downtown Santa Fe, which made exploring more challenging. Additionally, the area was quite noisy, detracting from the overall experience.
Dining
7.0
The breakfast buffet was enjoyable, particularly with the addition of red and green chile if requested. I appreciated the quality of the food, though I would have liked a bit more variety.
Facilities
5.0
The lobby's large stone fireplace was a cozy feature, but I did notice issues with the cleanliness of the pool area and that the hot tub was crowded in the evenings. Overall, some facilities seemed neglected.

My stay at Doubletree By Hilton Santa Fe was a mix of positives and negatives. The room was clean and spacious, while the front desk staff did their best amidst some operational challenges. However, I encountered a few issues with the bathrooms and cleanliness in common areas, which detracted from the overall experience.

Rooms

The king room I had was clean and a nice size, although the bathroom felt cramped. It came equipped with useful amenities like a fridge and microwave, which added convenience.
Service

The staff was friendly and accommodating. While they faced some computer issues during check-in, they handled the situation with professionalism and even provided complimentary breakfast as a gesture.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location was convenient, close to the airport and various dining options. Access to downtown Santa Fe was easy, which made exploring the area enjoyable.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast had some good offerings, though my experience varied. While it was complimentary, I found it could use some improvement in quality, especially in cleanliness at the dining area.

There were some nice amenities like a workout room with a great view, but the common areas, including the bar, were in need of updates. The pool area could also use attention.
